The City of Clintonville is required to maintain a Comprehensive Plan, which is a statement of public policy concerning the conservation and development of the City. The plan provides a guide to where future growth and development should occur over the next twenty years. When the City makes future decisions concerning land use development, the plan will be consulted. The plan inventories and analyzes the City's physical settings, natural features, land use, population figures, economics, housing stock, transportation, and community facilities.
While the plan covers a twenty year period, the State requires municipalities to update the plan ever ten years. The Plan Commission recently updated its plan the Council approved it on May 14, 2019. Please
