The Common Council has approved the City's 2019 Budget with a levy of $2,257,490. The 2019 Budget meets all State requirements and will entitle the City to the State's Expenditure Restraint Program in 2020.

Dam repairs to the City's dam on the Pigeon Lake near the Hemlock Street bridge have begun. The project is expected to have a total cost of approximately $485,000 with almost half of that being paid by a DNR grant. The project is expected to be completed by May of 2019.

The City passed the 2018 Budget on November 14th.
