The Department’s goal is to provide responsive and cost-effective maintenance of all transportation related public infrastructure, park maintenance/improvements, city facility maintenance, forestry, recreational programing, airport maintenance and to respond to all citizen complaints and concerns in a courteous, professional, and timely manner. The Public Works Department is staffed by the Director of Public Works, Street Superintendent, two Mechanics, three Street Operators, Parks Superintendent, two Park laborers, Building & Grounds Laborer, DPW Coordinator and about 18 seasonal employees.
