City Employment Opportunities

The City is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Manager.  This position is responsible for the administrative and technical work in directing the City's public work operations, including storm sewers, road maintenance and repair, health code violations, traffic control, and the municipal airport.  This position requires seven years of experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory position, in public works or a related field.  An Associate's Degree in Civil engineering or other related field is also required but a Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred and will substitute for two years of required experience.   Significant additional directly related experience may substitute for the educational requirement.  Applicants must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's License upon hire and must be able to obtain a Wisconsin Class A and B CDL with endorsements for tankers within 60 days of hire.  Please see full job description here for additional details and requirements.   Starting annual salary will be $56720 -$65060 depending on qualifications.  Interested applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and city application form to the City Administrator at 50 10th Street Clintonville, WI 54929  or emailed to (labeled Public Works Manager Position) no later than 4pm on October 18, 2019 in order to receive first consideration.
