  • W.A. Olen Park is located one block east of Main Street in the downtown area.  The park offers playground equipment, horseshoe pits (bring your own stakes), lighted tennis courts, youth baseball/softball field, three shelters, two baseball diamonds, a seasonal ice skating rink and warming house, bathrooms, and the Jim Simpson Memorial Disc Golf Course.  Park hours are 6:00am to 11:00pm.
  • Bucholtz Park is located on East Morning Glory Dr. from East 1st Street to Flora Way.  The park has three lighted softball diamonds, lighted tennis courts (coin-operated lights), basketball courts, picnic areas, playground equipment, bathrooms, 3 open shelters, sand volley ball courts (must obtain nets from the department), and soccer fields (available late summer to fall)
  • Gorden Noren Skate Park is located next to the Recreation Building at 55East 12th Street.  The skate park was made possible by the donation and efforts of the Clintonville Lions Club.

  • Shore Drive Neighborhood Playground

Boat Landings

  • Pickerel Point Boat Landing has two docks, a boat landing and a picnic area.
  • Ice House Landing has a dock and a boat landing.‚Äč


  • Seven Maples Nature Area is located at the end of West 13th Street.  The land was donated by the Simpson Family in the memory of Jim Simpson.  The agreement between the City and the family stipulates certain usages for the property with the intent to keep things in the area very nature-based.
  • Pigeon Lake Wayside is located north of 8th Street at West Street.  It has a picnic area, a boat ramp, a fitness trail, a nature trail, and a seasonal sledding trail.
  • Veterans Memorial Site is a brick wall honoring citizens of Clintonville who have or are serving in the U.S. Military.  Individuals wishing to honor a service member by purchasing a brick for the wall should contact the Parks and Recreation Manager for additional information.
